The Album, Sail EP and High Rope

The band made their mark in 2020 with the release of High Rope, a powerful introduction to their heavy groove and signature swing. They quickly followed up with their 2022 Sail EP, which turned heads and earned recognition from major outlets like Kerrang!, Classic Rock, and more. Building on that momentum, they released their debut album Torus, which received widespread critical acclaim across the UK and beyond.

Torus is a coming-of-age record for us in more ways than one. Like all great rock music, there's a simmering tension at its core. You can feel it in the push and pull of the album-opener and lead single Avalanche — which features guest vocals from The Blue Stones and channels that Foo Fighters energy. It’s in the rapid-fire urgency of Downfall, and the sharp gear changes of Into The Clear. Throughout the record, we explore feelings of confusion, paranoia, frustration, overwhelm, and burn-out — all of it building and finally boiling over in the tightly-wound closer, Speed Trial.

Central to Torus’ ambitions, however, isn’t simply their own success. Through the band’s community

initiative Headcharge, they understand that a rising tide lifts all boats and are looking to help elevate the

scene from which they were born. Now in its fifth year, multiple live events and supporting fanzines will

take place under its banner across the band’s local Milton Keynes, Northampton and Bedford regions.
